Washing Dishes

In line with Bex's post about solo pointless chore-related games, I find that washing dishes has become something like that for me. Only for me it's kind of like a very, very gentle bungee jump - I suspend thinking and just kind of hang there, dish after dish, fork by fork. And then, when the last pot is scrubbed, the last glass put away, it always takes me by surprise that the ride is over.
